The Palacio de Cristal, the gigantic greenhouse with metal and glass structure located in El Retiro, currently has until April 1 the Palimpsesto exhibition of one of the most outstanding artists of its generation, the Colombian Doris Salcedo. An unusual exhibition on the surface of the Palace that has been completely covered with 192 panels from which water gushes out, giving the names in a temporary and intermittent way of some of the men and women of the thousands of drowned refugees, making reference to the emigrants who have died at sea chasing a new life.
I recommend you visit the exhibition and see the names that appear on the floor as if made by tears under the huge glass shell of the building.
